‘External Blinds’

I’m starting to enjoy this process of forced, one-a-day photo curation. I knew I liked shooting mundane things, abandoned things and nicely aligned bits of rubbish, but not quite to this much. Seeing it all laid out like this is strange. No people pics or flowers. Just an obsession with quiet, bleak-ish moments.

It’s fun having to exclude stuff too. Today wasn’t particularly fruitful but I did come across a giant, abandoned panda toy and some burnt out windows. I don’t quite know what’s prompting me to choose what to put in each day but it’s not taking too long – so hopefully my subconscious is having fun.
