‘The Magic Bush’

It’s strange out here, in the flats, after it has been scorched by the summer. Everything the colour of hay. It feels barren. The skies wild.

I took a few shots this evening. None of them quite hit what I was after but this was nearest the mark. Isolated in the evening light the bush took on a surreal quality.
