‘Black and White Trees in Colour’
I love it when the weather is so murky and strange that it drains the landscape of colour.
Thick, bright, vampire fog.
I was shooting in colour but everything, in this moment, was monotone.
Trees I’ve walked past a hundred times reduced to inky silhouettes. I stopped a while to enjoy this surreal, simplified moment.
Days like today are thrilling because it’s pure chance: being in a place with my camera when nature plunges the environment – even if only for an hour or two – into black and white. Great fun.
