‘Spring Isn’t Here’

This is a sapling against a fairly mucky background, but every time I walk past it it’s bathed in it’s own light.

I’ve really enjoyed the start of January. The clear blue skies, the misty days, the witchy moss and gnarled roots…

… but, I’m also looking forward to Spring coming along and showering the landscape with colour.
