Pink Signal

‘Pink Signal’

My obsession with the signal mast continues. Photographers talk about how you need something to anchor images, to give a sense of context and scale.

A human silhouette looking wistfully into the middle distance. Maybe a glowing tent, nestled in a valley.

We can be immersed in big, dramatic landscapes, and feel suitably humbled, but photographs are a snapshot and sometimes need a subject to give the viewer a sense of place.

Enter my muse…

A West Country Eiffel tower, standing proud as the sky turned pink on New Year’s day.
