‘Stone Boxes’

It feels strange putting conventionally pretty things in this ‘one a day’ series.

Part of me loves it. I’m passionate about capturing mundane moments and the strange, accidental alignment of things in everyday life… but I also love conventional beauty. Architecture, sunsets, cheesy tourist photos.

As we eventually fully move out to the countryside I wonder what will happen to my photography style. There are barely any scrawlings on the walls here. People don’t leave rubbish on the streets. I’m more likely to encounter cows than people. I’m wondering what or who will become the subjects of my photography.
